Stephanie Duane, RMT

Stephanie graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2016. For her, becoming an RMT was strongly influenced by her own experience with chronic pain. Massage therapy was an important and effective tool that helped her manage, improve, and ultimately recover from the debilitating pain. This appreciation was furthered by her education and subsequent experience working with those with acute and chronic injuries or illnesses.

In Stephanie’s practice, she utilizes a wide variety of techniques
depending on the treatment goals and the outcomes determined during the assessment. Some of the techniques she uses are myofascial release, trigger point, deep tissue techniques, stretching, joint mobilizations, use of IASTM tools, Swedish massage, craniosacral techniques, and pregnancy massage. Stephanie will always strive to provide a treatment that facilitates healing, providing a complementary tool to help manage any pain or tension in her clients’ daily lives.

Having lived in BC since 2007, Stephanie and her family are excited to start exploring the interior more extensively while enjoying paddling sports in the summer and cross-country skiing in the winter.
